UK top ten sees a significant shuffle

Somewhat unexpectedly, last week’s lone new retail release – Legend of Kay Anniversary – failed to enter the UK top 40. This leaves us with just one thing to write about – the significant amount of shuffling within the top ten. Can you contain your excitement?

Despite a 14% dip in sales from last week, LEGO Jurassic World is back on the top spot. The Xbox 360 version was the biggest selling.

At #2 it’s Batman: Arkham Knight, up a single place, while GTA V rises two places to #3.

Chart-Track reports GTA’s rise is down to retailer’s PS4 bundles. Ditto FIFA 15 at #5 (up from #10).

Then at #4 we find last week’s chart topper – Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.

The Elder Scrolls Online surges three places to #6, Battlefield: Hardline renters the top ten at #7, F1 2015 falls to #8, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare drops to #9 and then at #10 it’s God of War III: Remastered.

Battlefield: Hardline’s top ten reappearance is noteworthy – it spent much of July at the lower end of the top 40. As reported last week, most retailers have given it hefty price cut – it can easily be found for around £25 currently.

Will Rare Replay rule the roost next Monday? It stands a very good chance.
