The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has become the UK’s fastest selling game of 2015 so far, beating Battlefield: Hardline’s debut week sales by some 53%.
Launch sales were up 608% over The Witcher 2, while the PS4 version took the bulk of sales – a 63% share. As always though, digital PC sales are exempt.
Somewhat surprisingly, Farming Simulator 15 entered at #2. Well, technically it’s a re-entry – it first broke the top 40 when it was released on PC. The individual format chart reveals that the Xbox 360 version proved to be the strongest selling last week.
GTA V remains at #3 while FIFA 15 moves up two places to #4.
Then at #5 it’s the UK’s previous number one – Project CARS.
Positions #5 through to #10 then comprise of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Battlefield: Hardline, Mortal Kombat X, CoD: Advanced Warfare and Destiny
.
At #11 we find good old Bloodborne, up all the way from #33. That’s down to retailers bundling it with PS4 consoles, apparently.
That’s it for new entries this week. The belated Disney Infinity 2.0 did however make #4 in the PS Vita chart while Hyperdimention Neptunia U arrived at #3.
