Call of Duty advances back to the top

Due to a surge in sales – which could possibly be attributed to the arrival of Exo ZombiesCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare has managed to dislodge GTA V from the top spot of the UK chart.

Curiously, this puts the two titles neck and neck in regards to both consecutive (three) and non-consecutive (seven) weeks at the top.

GTA V drops to #2 while both FIFA 15 and Saints Row IV: Re-elected hold their ground at #3 and #4 respectively.

Then at #5 it’s Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, up from #7.

The rest of the top ten is formed of all the usual suspects, including Far Cry 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Minecraft: PlayStation Edition and Destiny.

After arriving at #8 last week, Big Ben’s Rugby 15 has departed the top 10, dropping to #16. Terraria meanwhile back on the rise all the way from #28 to #13 thanks to last week’s launch of the current-gen retail versions.

The Xbox One iteration seems to have done reasonably well, entering the Xbox One top 20 at #15 but the PS4 version is nowhere to be seen. Odd.

Pirate RPG Raven’s Cry is absent from the charts too, suggesting that it did in fact slip at the last minute. As mentioned in last week’s new release round-up, it wasn’t clear if it had suffered yet another delay.
