The Last of Us Remastered rejuvenates UK chart

Coming as a surprise to absolutely no one, The Last of Us Remastered has taken the UK chart’s top spot. It’s the 5th biggest release of the year, but only the 4th fastest selling PS4 release so far.

With the kids off school, the rest of top ten has seen a boost. Sale figures are up, GTA V aside. That includes Watch_Dogs at #2, FIFA 14 at #3 and The LEGO Movie Videogame and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition at #4 and #5 respectively.

Just one game leaves the top ten this week and that’s Titanfall, going from #8 to #11.

Last week’s other new releases – Sacred 3 and LEGO Ninjago Nindroids – have somewhat surprisingly failed to make the top 40.

Deep Silver’s RPG has to make do with #15 in the PS3 chart and #16 in the Xbox 360 chart.

LEGO Ninjago Nindroids on the other hand is a complete no-show. Consider our eyebrows raised.
