This week’s UK chart sees GTA V back on top, knocking FIFA 14 down to #2.
With Pokemon X and Y’s sales double that of last year’s Pokemon Black 2/White 2, the first 3DS monster battler arrives at #3 and #4.
Then at #5 it’s another new entry – Beyond: Two Souls. Quantic Dream’s last title – Heavy Rain – had no trouble topping the charts, although that wasn’t up against quite as stiff competition.
F1 2013, Just Dance 2014, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Disney Infinity and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD make up the rest of the top 10. It’s encouraging to see Link’s latest hang in there for a second week running.
It’s also pleasing to see Dragon’s Crown enter the top 20, albeit only just – it’s in at #19. It does, however, go in at #1 in the PS Vita chart.
Further down at #28 there’s yet another new arrival – Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed. No doubt that’ll rise in the coming weeks.
Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition and Dishonoured: GOTY Edition failed to make the top 40, but they are in at #22 and #26 in the Xbox 360 chart, while in the PlayStation 3 chart the latter makes an appearance but not the former. Odd.
