Bats all, folks

Do you know how many new UK #1s there has been this year? Lots. The answer is lots.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is the latest, managing to outdo its predecessor which entered the UK chart at #2 in 2008. It’s #1 in every single format chart too, apart from PC and 3DS.

Last week’s #1 FIFA 12 drops to #2 and is followed by Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Solider, Max Payne 3 and Battlefield 3.

Lollipop Chainsaw remains in the top 10 for a second week, but drops from #4 to #6. Gravity Rush – last week’s only other new entry – hasn’t been quite so lucky, leaving the top 40 already after charting at a respectable #11.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armour hasn’t even made the Xbox 360 top 40, let alone the UK top 40. Not surprising seeing as IGN called it one of the system’s worst games.
