Bad to the bomb

UK Charts

It’s yet another #1 for EA – Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has gone straight to the top of the chart. The Xbox 360 version has sold the most amount of copies (53%), followed by PlayStation 3 (31%) and PC (16%). Shortages of Heavy Rain have seen it fall from #1 to #4. Sonic & All Stars Racing drops to #5. This wouldn’t have happened if they had called it Alex Kidd & All Stars Racing.

Another PC game in the charts this week is Supreme Commander 2 at #23, while the PC version of Assassin’s Creed II has helped Ubisoft’s white-clad assassin go back up to #14.

I was expecting to see Brain Training and 42-All Time Classics to make re-appearances, given that the DSi XL – released last week – is aimed at “senior gamers”. Neither game though has re-appeared but Mario Kart DS is back at #31 while the charming Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box has returned at #37.
