Alright scopey?

The sudden desire to start collecting Sega GameGear games has lead me to visit a few local charity shops in pursuit. I haven’t seen any GameGear stuff yet, although I have managed to pick up a few bargains, including a promo copy of Ridge Racer 7 on PlayStation 3 for £2 and Call of Duty 4 on PC for the same price. Another store had Halo and Star Wars: Republic Commando on Xbox for a mere quid each while today I saw a boxed “Saga Mega Drive” with some random boxing game for £8.

I have to admit that I am surprised – every charity shop I’ve been in to has had games in, even if they are just a few old FIFA games for PlayStation 2. There seems to be a few savvy owners around too – one had Final Fantasy VIII on PSone priced up at £9.99. Still, that isn’t a bad price seeing that the cheapest price on Amazon is £22.48.
