Guinness is good for you

UK Chart

EA’s extensive advertising for the mediocre Need for Speed Undercover is paying off – it’s now #2 in the chart, up from #4. Call of Duty World at War holds on to #1, while Resistance 2 enters at #10. There’s only one other new entry in the whole of the top 40, and that’s Guinness World Records: The Videogame at #29. Sega can’t be happy about Sonic Unleashed’s non-appearance.

There isn’t anything else of interest happening in the top 40, so we’ll turn to the single format charts. Madagascar 2 arrives at #17 in the PlayStation 2 chart, Sonic Unleashed dashes into a poor #23 in the Xbox 360 chart and at #34 in the Wii chart. Also new to the Wii chart: Hasbro Family Game Night at #40, TV Show King Party at #43 and Funfair Party at #47, while Need for Speed Undercover is currently at a surprisingly low #45. Then in the DS chart there’s Peppa Pig: The Game at #23, which has to be a sure sign of quality.
