The £69.99 price tag for Guitar Hero II hasn’t stopped 360 owners opening their wallets, helping it to clock in at #5. Command & Conquer 3 holds on to the top spot, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles up four places to #2. Brian Lara is on the move too, up into third, while Medal of Honor: Vanguard has gone from #11 to #4. The PS3’s flapship titles Resistance: Fall of Man and Motorstorm have both had bad weeks, dropping nine and thirteen places respectively.
Wii stocks were replenished over Easter – 25k consoles were sold in the UK, compared to 17k PlayStation 3s and 11k 360s – and as such quite a few Wii games have shot up the chart. Sonic and the Secret Rings has speed dashed from #40 to #18 and Wii Play, Twilight Princess and Wario Ware have all re-entered the lower end of the chart.
Rayman Raving Rabbids is back in the top 40 at #16 too, although this is likely down to the PlayStation 2 version being heavily reduced in the Easter sales, rather than the fact that the 360 version was released last week. It isn’t even in the 360 top 20.
