It was an incredibly tight battle between Quantum Break and DiRT Rally for the coveted UK chart top spot, but in the end Microsoft managed to steal it away from Codemasters.
DiRT Rally – referred to as the greatest rally racer of recent times – beat the launch week sales of DiRT Showdown by 197%, sitting between DiRT 2 and DiRT 3 in regards to opening week sales.
With sales down 41%, Tom Clancy’s The Division falls to #3.
FIFA 16 also drops one position, now at #4, and then at #5 it’s the recently discounted Far Cry Primal.
MXGP2: The Official Motocross Game was the only other new arrival in the top 40, making its mark at #17. It seems this series is starting to get some traction behind it.
Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles did however top the PS Vita chart while Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games made #6 in the 3DS chart.
