UK Charts
My, my, my – there’s four new entries in the top 10 chart this week. It’s almost as if it’s the Christmas new release rush has come six months early.
The apparently amazing Red Dead Redemption goes straight to #1, pushing 2010 FIFA World Cup to #2. Split/Second skids in at #5, Price of Persia: The Forgotten Sands at #9 and Modnation Racers at #10.
Skate 3 and Super Street Fighter IV have both had bad weeks – EA’s knee scraping sim drops from #5 to #12 while Capcom’s semi-sequel goes from #12 to #21. Alan Wake – last week’s highest new entry – has also dropped from #2 to #8. You can bet your life though that once retailers cut the price to £24.99 or so it’ll go back on the rise.
I was disappointed with GTA 4. For me, Rockstar redeemed themselves with RDR. I’ve put some hours into this game and it deserves the #1 spot.
What were you disappointed about with GTA 4?
Great game really tragic and sad ending
Anyone know if Red Dead Redemption is due to be released for the PC?
Game Informer magazine said that it is, but there’s no official word yet.
