People still like shooting things

UK Charts

Killzone 2 has become Sony’s first #1 for an almost unbelievable two years, with their last #1 being God of War II on PlayStation 2. It’s also the first ever Sony-published PlayStation 3 title to reach #1, and the fourth fastest selling game Sony have ever published in the UK. Oddly though it’s not the fastest selling PlayStation 3 game – GT5 Prologue still holds that accolade.

Halo Wars has to make do with #2, which has sold 17.6% of what Halo 3 did on its first week of release. That’s still pretty good going for a console RTS. The only other new entry in the top 40 is Silent Hill: Homecoming at #11. Even more zombies have invaded the single format charts – the stupidly titled Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad at #31 in the Xbox 360 chart and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop at #13 in the Wii chart.

Ben 10: Alien Force has managed to become #1 in both the PlayStation 2 and PSP charts despite not being very good. Also: Kevin 11 is much cooler.
