New games for the NES and SNES are coming this month via Mega Cat Studios

Retro specialists Mega Cat Studios are gearing up to release three new physical Nintendo games later this month – two for NES, and one for SNES.

The SNES gains Super Fanger, a top-down and spooky take on tag that has a two-player mode, four maps, and characters with special abilities.

The NES’ Plyuk meanwhile involves navigating a trap-filled world by cloning the hero, stacking them onto one another to reach higher areas, et al. It reminds us of Catrap on the Game Boy.

Old Tower is visually similar to the above, only more reaction based as you zip around a tall tower, moving horizontally and vertically with skill and grace while collecting coins.

Here’s the sizzle reel:

All three will be available on the Mega Cat Studios’ store from 29th January.
