The Switch eShop has awoken from its Christmas slumber. It isn’t back up to full speed just yet, though, with fewer releases than usual – hence why this round-up is remarkably similar to our multiformat round-up from Monday.
Those seeking a role-playing fix have two to consider. Fairy Tail: Dungeons is a deck-building roguelike, based around combining cards to become almighty while exploring dungeons. The £12 price tag seems reasonable. Kemco’s Hero Seekers is based around traditional elements too, with dungeon crawling and party management playing a key part. It’ll set you back £17.99.
Rammy’s Great Adventure Ⅰ &Ⅱ is a remake of two Japanese roguelikes, offering a revised UI and a harder difficulty level. Visually it looks similar to the Shiren the Wanderer series. As much as we’d like to tell you more about the original versions, searching for more information simply brings up information on this new Switch release.
Stepping away from RPGs, there’s I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival from tinyBuild. As a survivor of a great flood, it’s a case of turning abandoned rooftops into cosy campsites. There’s a mystery to solve too, and plenty of tinkering to be getting on with.
Then there’s eastasiasoft’s puzzler Gridz Keeper – based around powering generators to keep zombies at bay – the ‘90s sounding modern retro action platformer Eradicator Genesis, and an Arcade Archives re-release of SNK’s 1987 American football sim Touchdown Fever.
