Roguecraft DX is coming to more formats, including the Game Boy Color

It’s the first day of the year, and already a new game announcement has been made. That’s apt, we guess.

After making a splash on Evercade a few months ago, modern Amiga dungeon crawler Roguecraft DX has its sights set on a trio of retro-inspired formats, along with the confirmation that PC and current-gen console versions are planned.

Coming soon are versions for the Game Boy Color, Commodore Amiga, and the Commodore 64 revival system the MEGA65. Obviously, the GBC and C64 versions will be bespoke, seeing a visual downgrade to 8-bit. It’s promised that they’ll offer the same experience, though.

“With the help of some excellent friends, we’re able to present two new lovely ports of Roguecraft that cater to the strengths of each platform. We hope players enjoy and appreciate the passion that has gone into each of these ports,” said Badger Punch Games’ co-founder Ricki Sickenger.

Pre-orders for physical versions go live in March, with digital versions due in February.
