Smile, you son of a fish! Limited Run Games has acquired the rights to re-release JLN’s underwater, shark stabbing, 1987 adventure Jaws – based on the blockbuster movie.
It’s coming to PS5 and Switch as a physical release with a manual for $34.99, or as a $99.99 edition with a pixel-art style lamp, soundtrack CD, a keychain, an enamel pin, and a NES style box.
Weirdly, the press release simply covers the game’s premise and the physical editions. Head over to the Limited Run site though, and it’s revealed that improvements are being made, adding more quests, new weapons, more challenging enemies, and references to all four Jaws films.
Pre-orders for the physical release begin 19th Dec and end 18th January. It’s highly likely it’ll appear on the digital services around the time copies start to ship.
Limited Run also has Snow Bros. and Fighting Force collections in the pipeline, along with the mini retro collection The Nickelodeon Splat Pack.
