As predicted by us last week, Sega’s London 2012: The Official Video Game has managed to rise up to the top spot of the UK charts. We hope people realise it doesn’t contain a mini-game involving pushing The Queen out of a helicopter.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes drops to #2. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games rises up from #8 to #3 and is followed by Ghost Recon: Future Solider and Batman: Arkham City.
Four of the top five, in fewer words, are to do with either the Olympics or Batman.
Out of the copious amount of new Nintendo games released last week only Pokemon Conquest has made the top 40 at #17. New Art Academy made #7 in the 3DS chart though while Quiz Party made #15 in the Wii chart.
There’s no sign of Disney’s Brave: The Video Game anywhere, but that will no doubt change once the movie has been released.
