The Christmas sales have managed to shake the chart up at bit, although it’s the usual lot sticking around the top ten – Assassin’s Creed at #1 again, followed by FIFA 08, Call of Duty 4, The Simpsons Game and Need for Speed Pro Street. Guitar Hero III has risen from #12 to #9, while Pro Evo 2008 has gone from #13 to #6.
The sales, then. Juiced 2 looks like the biggest ‘winner’ – it has been out of the chart for a while but is now back in at #23. MySims is back in at #29, Transformers: The Game at #36, Medal of Honor Airbourne at #35 and Mass Effect at #39. A load of other games have risen back up too, including The Sims 2: Castaway, Crash of the Titans, Bee Movie and Kane & Lynch.
The lower end of the DS chart has been flooded with animal husbandry titles, most of which Ubisoft are responsible for. Well, you can’t say that they don’t know their demographic.
