Taxi Chaos 2 has parked up in time for Christmas

In addition to the already confirmed PC version – available now on Steam – the passenger ferrying Taxi Chaos 2 has managed to simultaneously launch on Xbox this week. [UPDATE] It’s also out now on Switch for £31.49.

This comes as a surprise – last week’s press release only mentioned that the PC version is imminent, with Switch and PS5 to follow in 2026. Our guess is that the Xbox version had a smooth certification process, and the Christmas lull has held up the other formats.

The original Taxi Chaos was a modern take on Crazy Taxi that didn’t (ahem) fare too well, accused of lacking finesse. This sequel appears braver and bolder, throwing AI Taxi Bots into the mix – which can ram your taxi off the road and block roads – along with roads that can be impacted by roadworks, fog and Taxi Bot only zones. New abilities can also be gained, helping to navigate streets and battle the Taxi Bots more swiftly.
