We didn’t expect another Evercade cartridge to be announced this week, yet here we are.
It seems manufacturers Blaze are listening to feedback, as the next cartridge is a Commodore 64 extravaganza, featuring 14 titles – including Impossible Mission, Summer Games, and Jeff Minter’s Iridis Alpha.
Blaze has partnered with the C64 Mini creators Retro Games Ltd to make this cartridge possible. It also marks the first-time home computer games have been available on the retro platform.
Here’s the game list:
- Alleykat
- Battle Valley
- Gateway to Apshai
- Impossible Mission
- Iridis Alpha
- Jumpman
- Lee
- Marauder
- The Movie Monster Game
- Street Sports Baseball
- Stormlord
- Subterranea
- Summer Games
- Winter Games
‘Lee’ is of course Bruce Lee minus the license. This isn’t the first time a name change has occurred, with some Evercade sports games omitting long-expired sports star endorsements.
THEC64 Collection 1 will be the first in a new series, coming in blue stripe packaging, and marked cartridge #01. Pre-orders go live July 29th ahead of an October release.
