Twenty (!) SNES games available on Switch from today

After countless requests for SNES games on Switch, Nintendo are about to deliver with a huge supply drop of 20 titles. They’re arriving today (Thursday) as part of the online service.

The initial line-up is a decent mixture of expected classics (Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, et al) and hidden gems (Demon’s Crest, Breath Of Fire, Super Puyo Puyo 2, and Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics).

There’s also space shooter Super EDF, which we don’t recall being too hot. Still, it’s nice to have a different assortment of games to SNES Classic Mini.

A Nintendo Switch SNES controller is in the pipeline, meaning SNES purists won’t have to manhandle a pair of Joy-Con’s for long.
