In a battle between man and beast, man ultimately prevailed. That’s to say, DIY platformer suite Super Mario Maker 2 is the UK’s no.1 for the second week running, leaving Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled to settle for #2.
It’s also a case of ‘no change’ at #3 as Codemasters’ F1 2019 stays put for another week.
Super Mario shows his face again at #4 – popular Switch pack-in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe jumped one place. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has risen from #10 to #5, too.
At #6 it’s the ever-popular GTA V. The recently discounted AC Odyssey took #7 while RDR2 fell to #8.
Position #9 is held by yet another Switch exclusive – Zelda: Breath of the Wild, up from #11.
Then at #10 it’s Mortal Kombat 11, rising from #24 thanks to retailer promotions.
After rising up the ranks to take #9 last week, Bloodstained nosedives to #34. It isn’t looking good for The Sinking City either, which plummets from #12 to #37.
As for re-entries, a price cut has helped sleeper hit A Plague Tale: Innocence re-appear at #25. The bargain-priced PlayStation Hits re-release of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition made #33 during its second week of sale, meanwhile.
