We aren’t entirely sure why Chart-Track published this week’s UK top 40 a day later than usual, but we imagine it has something to do with the Black Friday sales putting the chart in a spin.
Sales were up 60% from the previous week, and a whole lot of shuffling has occurred.
FIFA 16 is back on top after a six week break, but that’s not the most noteworthy event – Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has leapt from #24 to #5 with sales up a resounding 999%. This would suggest a lot of people purchased the Nathan Drake Collection PS4 bundle last week.
Sales of GTA V, Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, Disney Infinity 3.0 and LEGO Marvel Superheroes were up by significant amounts too, with most of back in the top ten after a brief hiatus.
There were no new entries – save for Monster High: New Ghoul in School entering the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and 3DS charts – but we did see a whole host of re-entries in the bottom echelon of the top 40. Specifically, Batman: Arkham Knight, Until Dawn, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Mad Max and PS4 launch title Knack.
Presumably Knack PS4 console bundles are still out there.
