Splatoon continues to help turn Nintendo’s tide

Even with a 50% drop in sales, Nintendo’s delightful Splatoon has managed to remain in the UK top five for a second week. After entering at #2 last week, it now sits at #4.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still the UK’s number one, making it three weeks on top. Will this week’s LEGO Jurassic World be able to dislodge it from the top spot? Never underestimate the popularity of LEGO. And dinosaurs.

GTA V and FIFA 15 both move up a place to occupy #2 and #3 respectively. Splatoon is at #4, as we already know, while Battlefield: Hardline rises from #6 to #5.

The bottom half of the top ten is then formed of Project CARS, Farming Simulator 15, Destiny, Minecraft: Xbox Edition and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The only new entry is visual novel Steins;Gate which arrives at a respectable enough #18. It takes the top spot in the PS Vita chart and also entered at #3 in the PS3 chart.
