Ubisoft’s scurvy simulator fends off EA’s army men

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 enter at #1 and #2 respectively in this week’s UK chart.

Neither however has managed to outsell their predecessors, which can almost certainly be attributed to the incoming PS4 and Xbox One versions.

To make way for these new arrivals FIFA 14 falls to #3, followed by GTA V at #4.

Then at #5 it’s Batman: Arkham Origins, which was last week’s #1.

At #6 and #7 there’s another duo of new entries – Football Manager 2014 and WWE 2K14.

Much further down the chart, at #30 no less, we then find Angry Birds Star Wars. The highest it arrives in the single format charts is at #8 in the Wii chart.
