Few steals in Xbox Games on Demand deal

After waiting a lifetime – or at least the Xbox 360’s lifetime – a decent sized Games on Demand sale is upon us.

The prices may be cheap, but don’t expect anything new – the majority of the games that have dropped in price are launch titles. Prices are in effect from 19th to 25th June.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for £3.99 is the best deal in our opinion.

Alone in the Dark – £3.99
Blazing Angels – £3.99
Disney Bolt – £3.99
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs – £3.99
Conan – £2.99
Dark Void – £3.99
Facebreaker – £3.99
Kameo – £3.99
Open Season – £3.99
Perfect Dark Zero – £3.99
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands – £3.99
Rockstar Table Tennis – £3.99
Sega Superstars Tennis – £4.99
Surf’s Up – £3.99
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter – £3.99
Virtua Tennis 2009 – £3.99
Viva Pinata: Party Animals – £3.99

American gamers have a few more games to choose from including Bomberman: Act Zero, Bionic Commando and the reasonably hard to find Tornado Outbreak.

  • Open Season & Surf’s Up are both easy games to 1000G but, more importantly, not terrible. 90% of Surf’s Up soundtrack consists of songs from the band “A”. Remember them?!

  • I’ve finished both of those games. And Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Surf’s Up is the best of the bunch, as you say.

I’ve finished Conan too. That’s from the developers behind Resistance: Burning Skies on PS Vita, would you believe.

I can’t remember a ruddy thing about it.
