As you can see here in both black and white, L.A. Noire has taken the top spot of the chart. Chart-Track reports that it has become the fastest selling new videogame IP in the UK, with 58% of copies sold so far on Xbox 360 and 42% on PS3. With word of its greatness still spreading chances are that it’ll be at #1 for a while.
There’s another new entry in the top 10 too – PC role player The Witcher 2 at #5. Sadly Dead or Alive: Dimensions fails to make the top 40. It goes in at #2 in the 3DS chart though, under LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Wii price drop has had a slightly bizarre effect on the chart. Mario Kart Wii – which is now bundled with the console – is back at #23 and Wii Sports Resort has risen from #31 to #13 but games like Donkey Kong Country Returns and Wii Party have done the opposite and fallen.
The new Nintendo Selects range hasn’t found many fans yet it would seem either – only Animal Crossing makes an appearance, and that’s at #33 in the Wii Budget Chart.
