Viz – Britain’s 3rd or 4th (or possibly 5th) funniest magazine – has a full page cartoon this month entitled Super Mario Curie. A combination of Marie Curie (the Polish chemist who discovered Radium) and Super Mario, Curie would rather wallop barrels with a hammer and find blocks to smash then work in her science lab. It’s an amusing read – Marie has been given a mustache, and at one point she has raccoon ears and a tail too.
Jack Black is also good this month, but alas, there’s no Drunken Bakers.
