This Week’s Games

Plenty of interesting new games for DS owners this week. There’s the evergreen RPG Chrono Trigger, Age of Empires, Konami’s Time Hollow and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and also Nintendo’s TV-advertised Mystery Case Files: Millionheir. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 only have two new games out – the motorbike-laden Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box and Rise of the Argonauts, which apparently a bit rubbish.

On Wii there’s Mr. Bean’s Wacky World of Wii – which looks suspiciously like the Mr. Bean game on PlayStation 2 from a few years back – plus Cooking Mama 2 and the extortionately priced re-release of Pikmin. £29.99 for a tarted up old GameCube game really isn’t good value for money, Nintendo. Especially when the superior sequel is also going to be re-released later in the year.

Next Week: Ben 10: Alien Force, Deadly Creatures, Destory all Humans: Path of the Furon, FEAR 2, Bolt, Race Pro, Shellshock 2 and The House of the Dead: Overkill.
