Full of Eastern promise

This Week’s Games

From the looks of things, Prince of Persia and Animal Crossing: Let’s go to the City are the last of the big Christmas releases. That’s unless you count Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun on Wii and Indoor Sports School on DS as big releases. Which you probably don’t.

Ubi’s cel-shaded Prince has been doing all right review-wise, with most 80 percent plus. There’s also a DS version out today, which stars a super deformed Prince with a giant noggin.

Animal Crossing, though, hasn’t been doing so well. The biggest complaint is that the formula behind it hasn’t change a bit since it was first released on the Nintendo 64.

Next week: just Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness on DS and Family Party on Wii if Game is to be believed.
