Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been knocked off the top of the chart, but it’s doubtful that Nintendo will care – it’s Wii Fit that’s replaced it. Top Spin 3 has moved up from #6 to #4 while Kung Fu Panda – which is apparently not that bad – rises from #16 to #9.
WALL-E is the highest new entry, arriving at #16 – albeit in its second week. It appears that the DS version is selling the most copies at the moment, which is a good thing – I was playing the Xbox 360 version last night and it crashed within 10 minutes. And it seems a bit rubbish.
Carnival Games on Wii is back on the rise from #23 to #15, while Ubisoft’s Sports Party – which isn’t getting a release outside of Europe – goes in at #29. Alone in the Dark sits one place below at #30. Atari wants to shift three million copies you say? Whoops!
Elsewhere the beautiful 2D brawler Guity Gear Core makes an belated appearance in the Wii chart. The fact that it’s £4.99 in the Game sale probably has something to do with that.
