So, Metal Gear Solid 4. Brilliant but a bit laborious seems to be the general verdict. Blockbusters are doing it for £35 if there’s one near you. Might as well get some popcorn for those two 90 minute cut-scenes while you’re there.
Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution is apparently as addictive as cocaine-covered Haribo and is also out this week on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Wii version was canned a while ago, but DS is still on the cards.
Family Ski, Okami and Emergency Heroes are this week’s Wii offerings. Don’t confuse the last with Emergency Mayhem – this one is published by Ubisoft and developed by Reflections, the Driver and Stuntman people. They’re releasing it at a budget price too – currently £16.99 on Play.
The headline? All to do with a little ditty from Eidos for the DS. Pretty much everybody who’s played Soul Bubbles has fallen in love with it. Ecolis: Save The Forest looks intriguing as well. There’s a video here. It’s of the Japanese version, mind.
Next week: Alone in the Dark, Final Fantasy VII: Core Crisis and Ferrari Challenge.
