This man has no dick

Game Informer has been given the world exclusive look at Vivendi’s previously secret Ghostbusters game. Earlier on in the year Zootfly were showing off an unofficial demo – rumour has it they compiled it to put to publishers, in the hope that they’d get the license for them – but according to the magazine Terminal Reality (Bloodrayne) and Red Fly Studios (the unreleased Mushroom Men) are doing the developing.

GhostbustersRather than use the classic movies as storyline inspiration, it’s set in the early ’90s after the events of Ghostbusters II. Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis have agreed (read: been paid a load of cash) to supply vocal work and likenesses, while Aykroyd and Ramis are penning the script.

No matter what console you own, everybody is going to get the chance to take on the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man; the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions will be aimed at ‘serious gamers’, while the PlayStation 2, Wii and DS versions will be family orientated affairs. Hopefully this doesn’t mean that they’ll give the characters stupidly large heads, as in the rubbish Mega Drive tie-in.
