Go! Captain Planet!

Ecolis for the DS has an anti-pollution vibe, and also a hint of Pikmin about it. I don’t think I’ve seen a DS game as busy looking as this – the Japanese trailer below shows dozens and dozens of furry critters on the screen at once. You can get them to planet trees, while other animals – like beavers – can be ordered to make bridges over polluted rivers.

There’s going to be a Wi-Fi mode too, although it’s not clear how it’ll work. At least not to me, as I don’t (fully) understand Japanese. There’s no word on a western release, sadly, but it’ll be out at the end of this month if you fancy importing.
