It’s a steal

Rumours are circulating that GTA IV might be pushed back a few weeks from its 19th October release date to give time for sales of Halo 3 – due 26th September – to simmer and also so that it falls into Take-Two’s 2008 fiscal year. Obviously it’s all bollocks – GTA IV’s release date was announced months before even the first screenshots were released.

GTA IV SESo forget all that, and look at this – the GTA IV Special Edition, which includes a soundtrack CD, art book, keychain, duffel bag and lockbox and comes in both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 flavours. It’s expected to cost $89.99 in the US – $30 more than the standard version.

ShopTo have £44.99 as the RRP for the UK release, although this might just be a pricing error. Best pre-order it now, then
