Me and my shadow

In its second week of release, the lacklustre Pirates of the Caribbean has managed to take the top spot of the chart. Darling Lara has to make to with entering at #2, with Spider-Man 3 down to third place. Shadowrun – which still hasn’t been reviewed by most websites – is in at a surprisingly high #11, while Spongebob & Friends: Volcano Island is in at #14. And we were thinking that the yellow sponge was starting to go out of fashion.

A few movers and shakers this week. Pokemon Ranger is on the move up, probably because GAME are running a promotion thing where you get an exclusive Pokemon and a chocolate Pokeball. Tomb Raider: Legend, the original Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Brain Academy and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves all re-enter the arse end of the chart. Pony Friends on DS is still amusingly outselling Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops on PSP.

This week it’s time to say goodbye to the Xbox full price chart. The full price GameCube chart is, however, still going. That’s what you get for having shoddy backwards compatibility, Microsoft.
