    …is another Tom Clancy franchise. So good news! Ubisoft have announced Tom Clancy’s EndWar.

    Tom Clancy's EndWarThe question which leaps to the mind of any sane individual is this: how is it any different to Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six? Actually, I’d argue that Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six are too similar as it is, but you get my point.

    The new issue of EGM has an exclusive, so details aren’t bountious. That said, it’s purely for next-gen consoles, and someone wrote the following description which we’re supposed to believe came from Ubisoft chief creative officer Serge Hascoët: “A strategy game like no other, EndWar will allow gamers to lead their own armies against hundreds of others online in real global locations on the massive battlefields of World War III.”

    So maybe it is different enough to be a new series. I don’t like the capital ‘W’ in the title though. I WILL FIND FAULT.
