Fare play

One of our predictions for 2007 has become a reality already: the PSP will receive some games that people actually want to play.

Crazy Taxi: Fare WarsCrazy Taxi: Fare Wars is a remix of the arcade/Dreamcast original and the ever-so-lacking sequel. The graphics have had a buff and polish, you can now save replays onto a memory card and there will be two multiplayer modes – competitive and cooperative.

Sega aren’t handling the conversion themselves – they’ve handed it out to Sniper Studios instead. They’re a new developer comprised of staff who have worked on the likes of Halo, Oddworld, SOCOM and Star Wars Battlefront.

This news is likely to have made a lot of people incredibly happy; those that love Crazy Taxi do so with a passion.
