The eye-ball pleasing Crysis 2 has managed to stay at the top of the chart for another week. The game at #2 may surprise you – it isn’t MotorStorm Apocalyspe (which makes its appearance at a lowly #17) or Shift 2: Unleashed (in at #4) but rather Zumba Fitness. Not wanting to blow my own trumpet or anything, but I did have a feeling it would be quite popular.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters and WWE All Stars go in at #6 and #7 respectively.

MotorStorm Apocalypse’s slightly rubbish placing is likely to be because it was delayed and Sony didn’t do a very good job at telling people the new release date (last Thursday).

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition is the highest placed 3DS game at #16, followed by Pilotwings Resort at #21, Rayman 3D at #23, Super Monkey Ball 3D at #29, Ridge Racer 3D at #30 and Nintendogs + Cats at #32.

I think I’m correct in saying that EA has been keeping Shift 2: Unleashed rather low key. They’ve also removed the Need for Speed name from it which is odd; it’s not as if it would harm sales. Reviews have been good though: Eurogamer gave it an 8, praising the social features. If realistic racing isn’t your thing the delayed Motorstorm Apocalypse on PlayStation 3 is now out to buy. Likewise, reviews have been good. Great, even.

WWE All Stars hits (nearly) every format this week too, including the dear old PlayStation 2. It’s more arcade-like and over the top than the usual WWE games, with gravity defying moves and such.

There’s also Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 – available on the three main consoles only, it would seem – while Ubisoft slips out Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D and Rabbids 3D on 3DS. NGamer Magazine compared Rabbids 3D to a generic Game Boy platformer. That’s Game Boy as in Nintendo’s original handheld. Gulp. And if Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D is anywhere near being average I’d be surprised.

Lastly, there’s two new RPGs to consider – The 3rd Birthday is a spin-off from the Parasite Eve series and is a PSP-exclusive while Ar Tonelico Qoga on PlayStation 3 appears to be one of the better games Tecmo Koei have published recently.

Next week: Rio, Dynasty Warriors 7, Duke Nukem: Critical Mass, Magical Zhu Zhu Princess: Carriages & Castles and Horrid Henry: Missions of Mischief.
