Eight new titles managed to enter this week’s UK top 40. None could topple FIFA 15 however, which remains on top for a sixth consecutive week. With the new Call of Duty now available though it’s doubtful it’ll make it for a seventh.

Microsoft’s hyperactive shooter Sunset Overdrive arrived at #2 and is followed by Minecraft: PlayStation Edition, The Evil Within and newcomer WWE 2K15 to form the UK’s top five.

At #11 current-gen only RPG Lords of the Fallen makes an appearance. With few games of this ilk on Xbox One and PS4 we had a feeling this would do well. Given the lack of publicity that #11 placing is all that more impressive.

Down at #23 The Walking Dead: Season Two shuffles in while The Walking Dead: Game of the Year made #36. It would appear that the PS4 versions of these two were the biggest selling.

Rewinding back to #25 we find the curiously popular Farming Simulator 15. Then at #38 it’s Nordic Games’ reboot of MX vs ATV Supercross, followed by PS Vita RPG Freedom Wars at #39.

Wondering where Bayonetta 2 is this week? Well…it’s not anywhere at all. We expected it to hang around the top 40 for a couple more weeks, at the very least.
