PlayStation 3-exclusive Gran Turismo 6 has unsurprisingly made the UK top 10, but at #8 in the chart that has to be a far lower placing than Sony was hoping.
Sales were down five times that of GT5’s launch figures, which can likely be attributed to the PlayStation 4 currently flying off shelves.
Nintendo can’t be best pleased with Knack outselling Super Mario 3D World for a second week running either.
Knack is at #18 while 3D World is at #20. As we mentioned last week though, that’s almost certainly down to Knack being bundled with the PS4 itself.
More despair: Bravely Default – last week’s only other major new release – hasn’t made the top 40 at all. That’s a bit of a shame seeing that Nintendo appeared to be giving the RPG a fair bit of promotion.
Anyway, the UK top 5 looks a bit (read: a lot) like this: Call of Duty: Ghosts still at #1, followed by FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed IV and GTA V.
Killzone: Shadow Fall holds in the top 10 for a second week at #9.
Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome remain in the chart, but they’re seemingly on their way out currently at #26, #29 and #34 respectively.
