It has been a good week for Ubisoft. Far Cry 3 is this week’s UK #1, knocking Call of Duty: Black Ops II off the top spot.

Not only this, but out of all the publishers Ubisoft has the most titles in the top ten this week with Just Dance 4 at #6 and Assassin’s Creed III at #8.

Chart-Track tells us that the last time Ubisoft ended the year with a game at #1 was back in 2007 with the original Assassin’s Creed.

The January sales seem to have shaken up the rest of the chart, albeit only slightly. Forza Horizon is up from #21 to #10, DOOM 3: BFG Edition is back in at #30 and The Amazing Spider-Man returns at #39.

It’s also curious to note that both GTA IV and GTA Episodes: Liberty City are back at #38 and #35 respectively. We guess there are a fair few people out there who want to get reacquainted with the series, or even experience it for the first time, before the almighty GTA V is released.
