Fix-It Felix Jr, the faux ‘80s arcade game from Disney’s CGI movie Wreck-It Ralph, is now available as a free download on the iTunes App Store.

As Felix it is your job to repair the windows smashed by Wreck-It Ralph, while avoiding low flying ducks and the barrels that Ralph throws. The difficulty level ramps up a bit as the game progresses, adding window boxes and wooden blinds that narrow Felix’s choice of movement.

It’s a little too simplistic for a full review, but it’s a nice enough freebie that should provide entertainment for at least a couple of lunch breaks.

There is an ulterior motive for Fix-If Felix Jr costing sweet nothing though – there are more than a few prompts to shell out for the Exclusive Version for 69p, which includes Sweet Climber and Hero’s Duty. These two are also based on faux videogames seen in the movie.

Wreck-It Ralph launched in America last week, but for some incomprehensible reason it’s not going to be released in the UK until 15th February.
