If you’ve got an account with the US PlayStation Store (and there’s no reason why you can’t just sign up), then you might want to head over and download the new demo of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune for the PS3. It’s really very, very good – a cross between Tomb Raider and The Getaway (but less shit), with some of the best graphics around.

The demo includes the big first level. There’s lots of shooting, balancing on logs and dipping your pants in streams. The full game comes out this week (November 15th) in the US, or early December in the UK. It’s suddenly looking like a game of the year contender.

Does it seem strange that two of the best new PlayStation 3 games have come from the makers of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon?
